PrismPOS is the preferred point-of-sale solution for PrismCore and Mosaic. As additional functionality is added to Mosaic and PrismCore, application APIs are expanding to offer expected behavior regardless of a store’s inventory management system. Along with essential data exchange, there is an ongoing initiative to unify POS configuration, streamline content management, and enhance transaction processing quality.

FreedomPay Card Processing

Application changes were made to ensure accurate communications between the FreedomPay pin pad and PrismPOS application. These changes address an error where occasionally a transaction that appeared to finish on the pin pad did not finalize on the cash register.

Mobile

To mitigate confusion and avoid errors, an obsolete application link on PrismRBS' Mobile distribution page was removed.

Miscellaneous Enhancements and Bug Fixes

Mosaic POS Cashier/Device Reconciliation Report - If a shopper pays an amount greater than the amount due by Check tender, Mosaic and PrismPOS now report the transaction consistently. The full amount of payment accepted will be reported as ‘Check’ and change given will be removed from the ‘Cash’ tendered amount.
ITC Balance Inquiry - Balance Inquiry can be done on an ITC tender upon logging in. Previously, at least one transaction had to be completed before an Inquiry would work.
