PrismPOS is the preferred point-of-sale solution for PrismCore and Mosaic. As additional functionality is added to Mosaic and PrismCore, application APIs are expanding to offer expected behavior regardless of a store’s inventory management system. Along with essential data exchange, there is an ongoing initiative to unify POS configuration, streamline content management, and enhance transaction processing quality.

Register and Cashier Reports

In Thunder Admin > Reports > Register Reports, when a date is selected, the Calendar is automatically closed and the report displays the selected date automatically, rather than requiring the user to click off the calendar then run the report. This improvement was applied to the Daily Receipts tab and Sales Reconciliation reports as well.

FreedomPay

For stores using Workstation ID to distribute their device connections, those devices now accept electronic signatures for both credit card and non-credit card tenders. This enables signature capture for tenders like campus cards and financial aid approvals.

Shift4

Transactions tendered with Shift4 Direct now display the Cashier Name and Receipt number in Lighthouse > View Transaction as expected. This information is shown in the Miscellaneous Notes for the transaction.

Miscellaneous Enhancements & Bug fixes

Reprint Receipts - Reprinted receipts now print correctly from the Transaction Complete screen as well as the Receipts tab. Clients had reported that they were unable to reprint receipts.

Department Charges (Mosaic Only) - Department Charges may now be linked to a Mosaic customer account at the register. Prior to this update, only Revolving and Financial Aid type accounts could be linked to a customer.

Gift Card Setup - A gift card can now be set up at the PrismPOS register even If there is no balance record on the card number created in Core. Previously, a gift card first set up in PrismCore that did not have a balance record associated with it could not be sold at the register.
