Application Updates from June 21 - July 31, 2023

Release to Production: August 9, 2023

PrismPOS is the preferred point-of-sale solution for PrismCore and Mosaic. As additional functionality is added to Mosaic and PrismCore, application APIs are expanding to offer expected behavior regardless of a store’s inventory management system. Along with essential data exchange, there is an ongoing initiative to unify POS configuration, streamline content management, and enhance transaction processing quality.

Bug Fixes

Scanning Variants

Scanning a product with variant type “other” now show variant information as expected. Fixed a bug where any variant combination but Color/Size, would only show one of the variants. Now, Color value will always show GMVariant1 and Size value will always show GMVariant2.

Save & Remove

Customers added to transactions can now be correctly removed by clicking the Save & Remove button. Previously, when a customer was added to a transaction, the customer could not be removed without cancelling the transaction.

Refund Item Tax

When the “Refund Item” button is pressed, tax will now toggle negative and positive matching the item. A bug has been addressed where, when a receipt was refunded and then the “Refund Item” button pressed, the amount would go positive but the tax amount would stay negative.

“Returned” Label

The “Returned:” label now displays as intended. Addressed a display issue on the POS sales screen where the “Returned:” label was partially obscured.
