Application updates from January 21, 2023 – February 24, 2023

PrismPOS is the preferred point-of-sale solution for PrismCore and Mosaic. As additional functionality is added to Mosaic, application APIs are expanding to offer expected behavior regardless of a store’s inventory management system. Along with essential data exchange, there is an ongoing initiative to unify POS configuration, content management, and transaction processing within Mosaic. This application makes use of enhanced Mosaic APIs to exchange data.
Stability and Performance
Logging - Logging has been modified to ensure that application performance it not impacted by log details. Previously, excessively large log files that may have been generated inadvertently could impact application performance.
Failed Transactions - Rental returns are now uploaded consistently as expected. Before, when the return mode was toggled between Refund and Check-In some rental returns failed to upload.
Miscellaneous Enhancements and Bug Fixes
Tender Account Number - When an account number is required for tender, a user may now scan, swipe, or manually enter the number at tendering. The ability to scan is a new feature. PrismPOS application prompts have been updated to reflect this new option.
