April 2023 PrismPOS Release Notes

Application updates from February 25, 2023 – March 24, 2023

Release to production: April 9, 2023

PrismPOS is the preferred point-of-sale solution for PrismCore and Mosaic. As additional functionality is added to Mosaic, application APIs are expanding to offer expected behavior regardless of a store’s inventory management system. Along with essential data exchange, there is an ongoing initiative to unify POS configuration, content management, and transaction processing within Mosaic. This application makes use of enhanced Mosaic APIs to exchange data.

Stability and Performance

Failed Transactions - A common cause of failed imports related to Foreign Key values and logged as “FK_[…]” has been resolved. The fix ensures transactions complete correctly and update Thunder Admin > Transaction Inquiry for both Mosaic and Core host applications.

Miscellaneous Improvements and Fixes

Receipts (Warranties) - When a serialized item with an attached warranty is sold, that warranty now prints on the paper receipt. Before this update, the warranty was included with an emailed receipt and stored electronically, but it did not print.

Meal Plans - CBord meal plan support now performs as expected on PrismPOS 2.0. Previously, multiple uses of a single meal plan within a single meal period was blocked.
