PrismPOS is the preferred point-of-sale solution for PrismCore and Mosaic. As additional functionality is added to Mosaic and PrismCore, application APIs are expanding to offer expected behavior regardless of a store’s inventory management system. Along with essential data exchange, there is an ongoing initiative to unify POS configuration, streamline content management, and enhance transaction processing quality.

FreedomPay Card Processing

Two issues regarding Freedompay transaction processing were resolved and have been packaged in the February release.

• Cancelling a credit card transaction at the pin pad no longer puts transactions in a loop at the register.

• Users may now complete follow-up processing of FreedomPay tokens as expected. An issue where credit card numbers were being double encrypted, was corrected to enable the expected use of tokens.

Miscellaneous Enhancements and Bug Fixes

• A/R requirements - A blank message box that resulted from multiple, subsequent changes in Thunder Admin > POS Parameters > POS Setup has been fixed.

• Rental Refunds - Changes in a previous update that inadvertently broke the rental refund workflow in PrismCore if the tender and guarantee rental tenders were the same was resolved.
