Release Notes Statement

New functionality added to Mosaic is controlled by feature flags to ensure readiness prior to use in production environments. Throughout release notes the phrase “If enabled” is used to designate capabilities that may be turned on or off. Such options may be released for a limited audience or dependent upon additional updates. These options will still be referenced in release notes to make clients aware all new application capabilities. 

Sales Events

Sales Events from Mosaic to PrismWeb

Several Improvements were made to better handle sales event pricing between Mosaic and PrismWEB

  • PrismWeb now takes into account whether a product is actively on sale in Mosaic.

    • Adding and updating sales events for products that are available online in Mosaic now show the sales event price on PrismWEB.

Sales Events in Mosaic Web Order Processing

  • When products are added to web orders in Mosaic, sales event prices are now shown and applied to web orders.

  • While working a web order in Mosaic, the Sales Event’s discounted price will now be shown below the original price of the item.

    • To eliminate ambiguity, the original price displays with a strike-through.

  • The adjusted price maintains accuracy during tax recalculations triggered by changes in shipping addresses, addition of new products, and order processing.

  • Adjusted prices are based on the active price on the date a product was added to the order.

Product Sales with COGS Report

Mosaic features a new report under Report Templates called “Item Sales” that includes COGS and margin details. This report provides net sales quantity by item over a selected timeframe. It also includes Mosaic product cost information and associated margin, to confirm pricing accuracy. To enable deeper analysis, the report is formatted as a csv file including: Default Barcode, Description, Variant1, Variant2, DCC, Qty, Selling Price, Extended Sale Amount, Discounts, Product Cost, Extended Cost of Sale, and Margin Percentage.

Rental Agreements on PrismWeb

Mosaic customers can now activate rental agreements on their website. Agreements are configured in the POS Admin tool, and available to Mosaic/PrismWEB clients with rentals enabled.

Dashboard on Main Menu

The Mosaic dashboard has been relocated to it's own dedicated page, and can now be accessed directly from the left-hand navigation menu.

  • To improve application performance, Mosaic users will no longer be taken to the dashboard upon logging in.

  • An icon was added to the top of the left navigation menu to reach the dashboard, replacing the head icon that was presented previously.

Bug Fixes & Small Enhancements

  • Price tags containing product descriptions with quotes (“), often used to abbreviate inch, now print as expected. An error was addressed where the quote prevented the price tag from printing.

  • Mosaic users should no longer notice excessively long search times and timeouts when searching for customers.

    • Performance improvements have been made in all areas where a user might search for a customer, including the customer search page itself.
