Release notes statement 

New functionality added to Mosaic, may or may not be immediately available to all clients depending on functional readiness or licensing. Throughout release notes the phrase “If enabled” is used to designate capabilities that may be turned on or off. Such options may be available to a limited audience or hidden until a future update. These options will still be referenced in release notes to make clients aware of complete application capabilities. 

Data Exchange

If enabled, the data exchange menu now presents scheduling options. In addition to job management, users may configure scheduling on preferred days or dates and at preferred times. This addition completes the ability to create and schedule store-speicific data exchange jobs. Import/export job contents and the execution by schedule will be incrementally delivered in future updates.

Imports/Exports

Supplier (Core export) - The Core export script has been altered to exclude any vendors that are marked as inactive in Core.

Miscellaneous Fixes

Buyback Title checkbox - This on/off value, which is shown in both book properties and order decisions, now persists regardless of where it is set. Before, depending on the screen in which an update was made changes were not always saved.

DCC Tax Item - The values presented in the drop down selection are now shown as expected. Previously there were several obscure values shown.

Order Decisions - The quantity of titles returned to a supplier now appears as the “Returned” value only. Prior to this update the quantity appeared in both Returned and Sales New fields.

Order Decisions - In Course Materials > Terms General tab, users may now designate how Returned Rentals will be accounted for in order decisions. Similar to buyback, you may designate if rental returns are disregarded, adjusted by an estimated return amount, or adjusted by actual returned quantities. This new parameter will be presented and applied as part of order decisions in a forthcoming update.

Rental Status Report - Required fields are now validated as expected. Previously, rather than identifying missing fields the report presented a system error.

Rental Tax - In Store Setup - In Administrator > Store Setup > Parameters tab, you may now set the Rental Tax Type as part of Course Materials Settings. This option is added since rentals share DCCs with new and used course materials but sometimes have a unique tax type.

Transaction Search - Users may now view any transaction details without errors. In the last update, support for serial numbers in transaction details inadvertently created an error for transactions missing customer details.

Wantlist Title checkbox - This on/off value, which is shown in both book properties and order decisions, now persists regardless of where it is set. Before, depending on the screen in which an update was made changes were not always saved.

Web Order Picklists - Picklists now include all customer information that appears on the Mosaic screen. Additional information on the picklist includes the customer’s name and ID, phone number, email address, billing address, and shipping address.

Web Order Processing - Shipping address changes that adjust the calculates order tax are now reflected upon Save. Before, users had to click Save twice before order taxes were updated.
