March 2023 Mosaic Release Notes

Apple Report - A new vendor report has been created to generate a csv file that matches the requirements for Apple partner stores. The report uses a store’s Apple supplier code along with any products that include Apple supplier profiles to create the required sales and stock on hand report details.

Payment Method - A web orders payment method may now be changed from charge card to a valid AR tender. This action allows a store to alter the payment type without requiring a shopper to resubmit an order.

Close Order - The previous ‘Cancel Order' button has been replaced with ‘Close Order’ and offers two available statuses. ‘Cancel’ performs the same action as before, and disables processing of an order without updating system stock on hand or reports. 'Processed on POS' disabled processing of an order with Mosaic but adds a status to indicate the order was processed via another register in the store.

Order Decisions - The ‘Returns’ field now presents stock on hand returned to a supplier by chargeback as expected. Previously, this value was not updating with product returns.

Rentals List - The Course Materials > Rentals Management screen now functions as expected. Before, changing the course term sometimes caused a performance issue where the screen did not populate with adopted course materials.

Terms - In Course Materials > Terms > Edit, the ‘Close Term’ action will remove associated want lists associated with PO as expected. In previous versions this action caused a system error.

Terms - In Course Materials > Terms > Edit, terms with status set to ‘Closed’ are now view only. This updated prohibits changes to a term’s date values after it was closed.

Web Order processing - For better clarity, if a web order presents the warning ‘Payment is invalid’ the ‘Process Order’ button is inactive. Before, the Process Order button could be selected, but attempted processing was blocked.
