Release notes statement
New functionality added to Mosaic, may or may not be immediately available to all clients depending on functional readiness or licensing. Throughout release notes the phrase “If enabled” is used to designate capabilities that may be turned on or off. Such options may be available to a limited audience or hidden until a future update. These options will still be referenced in release notes to make clients aware of complete application capabilities.
Dashboard
If enabled, the Mosaic dashboard now includes a Daily Sales Widget that presents Total revenue collected, POS revenue collected, and Web sales revenue processed.
Multistore
Product Search – If multistore is enabled, the Product Search page will present all available products, but location-specific data, Stock on Hand and On Order, will show values for the selected location. Product properties include additional location values.
Admin > Users – If multistore is enabled, the Admin > Users page will show all users with system credentials regardless of the selected location.
Purchase Orders – If multistore is enabled, purchase order data will appear for the selected location. Location-specific information includes:
Proposed, Open, and Closed Purchase Orders
Contact, Shipping, and Billing information from Store Setup
Order Decisions
To streamline course materials ordering, users may now add a product directly to a purchase order directly from the Order Decisions screen. A new “Add to PO” button will present a list of proposed orders for the product supplier along with a ‘Create New’ option. Choosing an order or new order option will update the purchase order database without requiring the user to Auto Gen orders.
Reports
POS Device Reconciliation report – An exception error that was presented when DCC sales values included a price override has been fixed.
Stock Adjustment report – The date selector for the stock adjustment report is now performing as expected. Previously, selecting the same date as the Start and End Date returned more than one day’s results.
Miscellaneous Fixes
Purchase Orders – Following the March release, a sequence of saving a purchase order with status updates caused an “Ooops” error. This issue has been resolved.
Buyback Purchasers – An erroneous “Ooops error” that was presented upon saving a purchaser was corrected.
Product Maintenance – Previously, the Barcode Column presented the first barcode value which was usually the item SKU rather than the default barcode as designated in product maintenance. The search result now show the Default Barcode.
Web Order processing – Some orders that were successfully processed showed as failed in Mosaic requiring PrismRBS intervention to reconcile the order status. This issue was fixed.
Buy Books – Upon exiting the Buy Books utility a user was being prompted to save their work even though there were no updates to save. This misleading prompt has been removed.
Invoicing – When adding an invoice to a purchase order the Invoice Date and Due Date changed by 1 day upon save. This has been fixed so that Mosaic saves that dates that were entered.
