April 20, 2022 PrismWeb Release Notes

PrismWeb is the preferred, e-commerce solution for PrismCore and Mosaic. As additional functionality is added to Mosaic, application APIs are expanding to offer consistent behavior regardless of a store’s inventory management system. Along with essential data exchange, there is an ongoing initiative to unify website configuration, content management, and order processing within Mosaic. This application makes use of enhanced Mosaic APIs to exchange data.

PrismWeb Front End

Eigen MiraSecure – The card processing iframe provided by Eigen Development has been updated on PrismWeb hosted websites. This payment update, requested by Eigen, applies to Canadian clients who use Eigen as their payments processing partner.

Bot Remediation – PrismWeb resources are continuously monitoring for card processing attempts initiated by automated processes, commonly referred to as bots. Additional blocking was added to PrismWeb to ensure secure payment processing and continuously discourage such activity in PrismWeb.

Mosaic integration

Product Previews – (Mosaic Only) PrismWeb and PrismWeb manager now show secondary images from Mosaic matrix items. The secondary images include any colors that are attached at the SKU level and color swatches that are generated from the SKU images. These images are automatically presented in addition to the multiple images that may be attached to the product profile. This capability was already available for PrismCore applications.
