May 2022 PrismWeb Release Notes

Release to production: June 8, 2022

PrismWeb is the preferred, e-commerce solution for PrismCore and Mosaic. As additional functionality is added to Mosaic, application APIs are expanding to offer consistent behavior regardless of a store’s inventory management system. Along with essential data exchange, there is an ongoing initiative to unify website configuration, content management, and order processing within Mosaic. This application makes use of enhanced Mosaic APIs to exchange data.

PrismWeb Front End

Shipping Methods – Stores may now, optionally, display the associated charges with each shipping method during checkout. Presenting the cost is a parameter in PrismWeb Manager.

Email Templates – For custom email templates, the store name is now included as the “From” address.

Account Login - Websites now lockout customers with too many failed password attempts. By default, accounts will be locked for 15 minutes after 5 consecutive failed login attempts.

Shipping Cost Setting -

Site Search - The PrismWeb Manager site search is now case agnostic for letters and again supports search by account number.

Mosaic integration

Order Updates - During syncs, PrismWeb Manager now receives Mosaic order updates from the past two weeks. This information is useful for shoppers who review their order history.

Shopper IDs - During syncs, the shopper ID attached to Mosaic orders is retrieved. This ensures that Mosaic edits to a customer’s account are reflected on PrismWeb manager.

Product Variants – Mosaic product variants are now sync’d to PrismWeb manager so they can be manipulated via the Products > Attributes menu. This update enables users to sequences variants/attributes in a preferred order on their website.

Book Attributes - PrismWeb now supports the “New Only” flag that was introduced for books added to Mosaic course requests.
