November 2024 PrismWeb Release Notes
Application Updates from: September 26 - October 23, 2024
Release to Production: Nov 06, 2024
PrismWeb Version: 3.33.34
PrismWEB Manager Version: 1.16
PrismWeb is the official e-commerce solution for PrismCore and Mosaic. Application APIs provide consistent behavior regardless of a store’s inventory management system. Along with essential data exchange, there is an ongoing initiative to unify website configuration, content management, and order processing within Mosaic. Support for PrismCore will be maintained and strategically enhanced as clients transition to Mosaic.
PrismWeb Manager
Link titles now appear as expected when creating links via PrismWEB Manager. Previously, link titles were getting stripped out upon save
The Requisition page now better handles communication around requisitions flagged as No Text Required, showing a useful alert for how to proceed. Previously, if the site was not configured to use TextReq for Mosaic or PrismCore, AND if there was no SKU assigned for the ‘No Text Required SKU’, the page would show a misleading message, resulting in confusion regarding the path required to get to the proper configuration.
PrismWEB
Updates to the PrismWEB 2024 Template include:
Announcement content is now truncated before any links, ensuring proper navigation to the full announcement. Previously, the "Read More" link for announcements sometimes led to a 403 error due to truncated HTML.
The browser tab title now shows the Catalog name when using site navigation to reach a Catalog page. Previously, the tab title was missing.
When hovering over a non-clickable department titles in the mega-menu, the cursor no longer displays as if the text is clickable.
The search filter button no longer appears when there are no filter options available.
These changes are specific to the PrismWEB 2024 template and not applicable to previous versions. If you are interested in upgrading your PrismWEB template version, please contact info@prismrbs.com.
