PrismWeb is widely used as the e-commerce solution for PrismCore and Mosaic. Application APIs provide consistent behavior regardless of a store’s inventory management system. Along with essential data exchange, there is an ongoing initiative to unify website configuration, content management, and order processing within Mosaic. Support for PrismCore will be maintained and strategically enhanced as clients transition to Mosaic.

PrismWEB

Sales Events from Mosaic to Web

PrismWeb now takes into account whether a product is actively on sale or not in Mosaic. Adding and updating sales events for Mosaic products that are available online now show the sales event price on PrismWEB.

Improved Cart Management with Verba Compare

For shoppers who have existing items in their PrismWEB cart, those items will persist even when moving between PrismWEB and Verba Compare. Previously, when adding items to a shopper’s cart and moving to Verba Compare, returning to PrismWEB would result in the loss of old items in the cart. With this update, a shopper’s cart items remain intact.

Buyback Status on Product Pages

Product pages on PrismWEB now display accurate buyback status based on the store’s buy list and quantities. A "Have one to sell?" prompt will now only display if the store is actively buying back the book on the product page, providing a more relevant user experience.

Deleting Archived Terms

The complete removal of archived terms, including those with status “archiving” in Text Req data, is now ensured. Previously, when attempting to delete archived terms, terms with a status of "archiving" and their associated historical requirements remained in the system, causing unwanted course data to persist in course history. This is now fixed.

Enhancements & Bug Fixes

When a digital content return fails in Prism Web Manager, users will now see an error message from the vendor. Previously users were seeing a server error.
On the requisition tracker page, when clicking the “resend” or “ignore” buttons, users will now see the next set of buttons for performing their needed function. Previously, users would see a server error.
