Application updates from May 25 - June 22, 2022

Release to production: July 6, 2022

PrismWeb is the preferred, e-commerce solution for PrismCore and Mosaic. As additional functionality is added to Mosaic, application APIs are expanding to offer consistent behavior regardless of a store’s inventory management system. Along with essential data exchange, there is an ongoing initiative to unify website configuration, content management, and order processing within Mosaic. This application makes use of enhanced Mosaic APIs to exchange data.

Operational

As part of the acquisition of PrismRBS by Harris Computer, some hosted services must be transitioned away from Nebraska Book Company. When we do our job well, these changes will go unnoticed by you, our users. We appreciate your understanding as we address operational necessities this summer.

Mosaic integration

The data interchange between Mosaic and PrismWeb has been improved to prevent potential issues that could delay the synchronization process. In addition to improvements to the synchronization process, new alerts were added to notify appropriate staff if attention is required.
