PrismWEB Manager Version: 1.17

PrismWeb is the official e-commerce solution for PrismCore and Mosaic. Application APIs provide consistent behavior regardless of a store’s inventory management system. Along with essential data exchange, there is an ongoing initiative to unify website configuration, content management, and order processing within Mosaic. Support for PrismCore will be maintained and strategically enhanced as clients transition to Mosaic.

AI-generated product descriptions - (Note: This is an add-on feature that is supported by the PrismWeb 2024 Template only.)

PrismWeb manager now presents an AI-generated web description for GM items, based on the product description. Users may alter the AI prompt to tune descriptions, and may edit descriptions prior to publishing to maintain consistency, ensure content integrity and maintain store branding.

Update to all Templates:

reCAPTCHA v3 - To mitigate fraudulent transactions reCAPTCHA v3 is now available on account and cart pages. If enabled, this change prevents bad actors from generating fraudulent accounts and orders in attempts to test the validity of card numbers. To maintain the performance of existing web pages, reCAPTCHA v3 is disabled by default. Stores may implement the reCAPTCHA check on account pages, or on the cart page. If you need assistance enabling this functionality please contact the PrismRBS support team.

Homepage announcement blocks - Issues with how announcements get rendered within the announcement blocks if the announcement has html characters in it and is long enough to get truncated with the ‘read more’ link work addressed. To maintain content integrity as formatted, PrismWeb will hide, instead of removing, overflowing announcement text. This change keeps html formatting intact while also constraining the height of each announcement. Overflowing announcement content will show a ‘read more link’ to navigate to the full announcement on the announcements page.
