PrismWeb Release Notes June 14 2020
Enhancements
Change to the Sender and From address of all PrismWeb generated emails to minimize spam filtering and potentially blocked emails.
Expanded Details
In order to improve deliverability of emails sent from PrismWeb, we are making a change to the Sender and From address of all PrismWeb generated notifications. This is to ensure all email communication is sent from a fully authorized domain, to minimize spam filtering and potentially blocked email from customers who have implemented more restrictive SPF, DKIM, or DMARC policies to protect their domain. No changes will be made to the Reply To email address or Display Name included on emails, so customers who reply to emails sent from PrismWeb will still be responding to your preferred email address defined in PrismWeb Manager. For specific email settings please refer to the PrismWeb Manager Manual.
What will be Changing?
We are updating the sender email address from mailer@chohc.net to notification@mail.prismrbs.io
We will no longer be setting the on-behalf header, as some mail providers will use this instead of the sender when validating SPF, DKIM, or DMARC
What Will Not Change?
Customer replys to any notification emails will be sent to your preferred email address currently used today
The Display Name associated with the email will still display your Site Name as it does today
