Enhancements

Fraud Mitigation

To deter the actions of bad actors attempting to identify active card numbers, new tools were added to block automated card processing bots. Website may also add reCaptcha to the Credit Card processing iFrame as a precaution.

If you do not have reCaptcha implemented and would like to, please contact PrismRBS support.

jQuery

PrismWeb applications were updated to use the latest jQuery library to ensure application security and utilize the most recent html support. Clients with custom website elements may need to confirm functionality with the latest library.

Accessibility Compliance

Web accessibility improvements were added to some web templates as part of our ongoing commitment to website compliance.

In this update, a play/pause button is introduced to any slideshow/carousel that is set to auto-play. Other, less-visible carousel-related accessibility improvements are also included.

Mosaic Integration

PrismWeb has expanded its use of Mosaic APIs to present products and share orders with the new back office application. Data that is now exchanged between PrismWeb and Mosaic now includes:

  • Course materials lookup from Mosaic to PrismWeb.

  • Books from Mosaic to PrismWeb.

  • Shipping types from Mosaic to PrismWeb.

  • Tenders from Mosaic to PrismWeb.
