PrismWeb Release Notes December 20, 2020

Enhancements

  • Added the framework for credit card verification with Shift4 during the order placement process on the PrismWeb site. The default setting for this will be off as we work with customers currently using the i4Go Only Auth Token to generate a new Standard Auth Token for their website using LTM (Shift4’s Lighthouse Transaction Manager). When this enhancement is fully implemented stores will have the option to turn the service off, set it to verify without AVS (address verification service), or verify with AVS. Card verification will verify against the card number and CVV number. AVS will validate against first name, last name, house number in Address1 field, and zip. If a store wants the AVS to be less stringent they can contact Shift4 to validate against just zip, or just zip and house number, or any combination.

  • Updated requirements for PrismWeb Manager passwords. The password requirements are now:

    • contain at least 8 characters (spaces allowed)

    • contains 1 numeric

    • contains 1 uppercase character

    • contains 1 lowercase character

    • contains 1 symbol
