PrismCore v28.2.7.53 Release Notes
Freedompay RNR Fix
Freedompay clients now have the ability to process RNRs against web orders containing rentals, as well as POS rental purchases.
Stores utilizing this feature will need to work with Freedompay to ensure token-sharing is enabled between POS and WEB.
TrimData for PrismCore Order Processing
TrimData for PrismCore order processing is made available. Previously, this payment type was only available in custom builds of PrismCore. In an effort to standardize builds, it is now available to all.
ITC Systems Payment for PrismCore Order Processing
PrismCore has been updated to allow ITC as a payment method for processing web orders. ITC Systems specializes in cashless integrated transaction card systems for campus systems.
ITC Systems payment processing will be released to registers during the October 2024 POS update
Watchman Groundwork
This version of PrismCore has been updated to pave the way for POS to utilize Watchman as a payment method, where register and web order payment processing functionality will follow.
Additional POS development work is still ongoing to utilize Watchman at the register
Additional work is ongoing to certify Watchman for use with PrismCore web order processing
Digital Mass Adoptions Fix
Digital headers for ALL locations are created when any SKU is added to the digital content module. Previously, clients were seeing item records at POS that were switching from digital book to textbook due to the digital headers not existing in all locations.
This fix has already been deployed to affected customers, and is now standardized into this build.
The store needs to add the inventory location records to make the titles active.
Net Sales by Tax Code Report
The Net Sales by Tax Code Report now works as expected. Previously, clients were noticing incorrect taxes caused by the sales tax import when more than one tax code was used on a single transaction. This fix has already been deployed to affected customers, and is now standardized into this build.
SQL Server 2022 Compatibility
PrismCore can now be installed on a SQL Server 2022 environment. Previous PrismCore builds only supported SQL Server 2019 and below. Validation checks have been updated to include SQL Server 2022.
