Enhancements

GM Rentals in Toolkit

An enhancement was add to allow GM rentals when using Toolkit Order Fulfillment. Previously GM rentals did not work correctly on Toolkit

Serialized Rental Items for Toolkit

An enhancement was added to allow for both the serial number and rental on the same item when using Toolkit Order Fulfillment. With this patch, Toolkit can now properly handle both a serial number and Rental XREF.

Toolkit with Windows Authentication

Toolkit can now be used with windows authentication

NMRP Rental Token Sharing

The functionality has been added to allow token sharing for NMRP rentals. This allows Nebraska Book Company to charge the customer for any NMRP rentals not returned.

Digital Mass Adoption
Starting with 28.2.7.7 Digital Mass Adoption will no longer have the suffix of (DC) at the end of the title instead the prefix of (eBook) will be at the front of every title.
If you have prevent duplicate ISBNs turned on then you will not notice anything different expect for the prefix of (eBook) at the start of the title. All old titles will have the ISBN and barcodes wiped out when the new item record is created.
If you do not have prevent duplicate ISBNs turned on then you will have a duplicate record for all titles pulled over to PrismCore that already exist in PrismCore. This means course requests will have the same book listed twice and both records can be sold at the register. All digital items that have (DC) at the end of the title will need to have the barcode and ISBN blaned manually. You will also have to mark both new and used as discontinued in PrismCore. The titles on Course Request will also have to be marked as cancelled to prevent confusion on the shelf tags and on the website.

Bug Fixes

Correction for Orders Processed with Toolkit

Before this fix, when processing an order on Toolkit, the Order in Enter Mail would remain in a Ready status, the order in Ship Mail would remain Open and list no details. After applying this patch, when you process an order in Toolkit, PrismCore will correctly update the order in both Enter Mail Order and Ship Mail Order.

Refunds in Mail Order Refund/Exchange

Prior to this fix, when a refund or exchange was processed in Mail Order Refund/Exchange was completed it would send the original Shift4 invoice number. This would cause refunds/exchanges to be done incorrectly.

Thunder Import/Export

A standalone Thunder Import/Export executable was created. This will address a memory link that has been causing issues for stores.

AP Purge

Prior to this fix, if the AP Purge process was ran to remove for several years at a one time the user would receive a query timeout error.  This has been corrected to allow for large AP Purges without receiving the query time out error.

Toolkit Financial Aid Lookup

Prior to this fix when using NBC Toolkit - Financial Aid Lookup: 'Amount Available' displayed incorrectly as $0.00 in toolkit, when the amount in PrismCore was $10.00.
