Alerts

Alerts allows you to set alerts on your home page. When you choose Alerts from the Manage tab, the Alerts management page displays.

The Alerts page contains

  • Current Alerts and their status.
  • Option to edit or delete current Alerts.
  • Option to create a new Alert.
  • Option Change Order of Alerts.


You can keep multiple Alerts in PrismWeb Manager, which you make Active or Inactive at the appropriate times.
Note: While you can have multiple Alerts at any time in PrismWeb Manager, only one Alert can be set to Active at any one time. To activate a new Alert you must first inactivate any Active Alerts regards of their display dates.

Creating a New Alert


How to create a New Alert.

  1. Select New Alert to display the Create Alert screen.


  1. Enter an Alert Name.
  2. Select the status of Inactive or Active.
  3. Select the background color for the alert.
  4. Set the start date.
  5. Set the end date.
  6. Enter your Alert Text.
  7. Select Save, which will save your Alert and return you to the Alert Home page.


Alerts will show up at the top of your content area on your website. Only one Alert can be active at any one time. If you have no active Alerts, this area will not display on your homepage to avoid unwanted white space.

Editing an Alert

Whenever you need to change the text of an Alert or change its status, you will need to Edit it.
How to edit an Alert.

  1. Select Edit option next to that Alert to open the Alert in an Edit Alert screen identical to the New Alert Screen.



  1. Edit your text to update the Alert and/or change its status.
  2. Save your changes.

Deleting an Alert

If you decide to remove an Alert from your Alerts list, you will choose the Delete option. You will then see a message asking you to confirm your action as it cannot be undone.
