No Hassle Buyback Setup

No Hassle Buyback (or Sellback) is an option you can have your PrismWeb site that replaces your standard buyback page with a No Hassle Buyback page.  This allows students to sell books directly to Nebraska Book Company, with the bookstore receiving a commission on each sale.  This option can be enabled when you are not actively doing a store buyback, and disabled when needed.

After the customer enters the ISBN of a book, they will be provided with a quote for that title.  After entering all books they would like to sell, they will enter the information for where the check is to be sent.  After completing this information, they will be provided a prepaid shipping label to print and attach to the shipping box.

Enabling On the Website

  1. Access PrismWeb Manger https://manager.thecampushub.com/.

  2. After logging in, hover the mouse over Textbooks and select Buyback from the drop down menu.

  3. To the right, select No Hassle Buyback.

  4. To turn on the service for your website, check the box next to Enabled.

  5. The Store Commission is preset. In the Kickback field, enter the additional percentage you would like to kickback to your customers. This will be used to calculate the Actual Store Commission.

  6. Click Save.

  7. The sell_main.asp page on your website will now display the No Hassle Buyback information. (This may take a few minutes to populate on your website.)

Adding the Buyback Information to Your Home Page

There are multiple options to add the link to your buyback page to your Bookstore website’s home page.

Buyback Block

To add the Buyback Block to your homepage you will need to use an HTML editor.

  1. Access your File Cloud Drive (If you are not currently set up for File Cloud to access your website files, please contact Support.)

  2. In the root folder for your website files, locate default.asp.

  3. Open default.asp in your HTML editor.

  4. Identify where on your page you would like the block to appear. The content blocks (widgets) will appear on your webpage in the order they appear in the code.

  5. Put the following code where you would like the Buyback Block to display.
    <div class="clear"></div>

    <!-- #INCLUDE VIRTUAL="innerweb/v3.0/i_home_buyback.asp" -->
This example will place it between the Announcements and the Featured Items block.

  6. Then save your changes in the HTML editor.

  7. Verify on your staging website that everything is displaying correctly and the link is working.

  8. In PrismWeb Manager navigate to Manage > Content Deployer.

  9. After verifying everything is correct and functioning on your staging website, select Deploy to push it to your customer facing website.

Slide Show

  1. Create your slideshow image using the size for your template.  (If you do not know the size for your slide show, look for the size in a comment on your slideshow page.)

  2. Using your File Cloud Drive, put the slide show image into your Images folder.

  3. In the File Cloud Drive, navigate to the Outerweb folder and then open slideshow.asp.

  4. To create a new slide, copy the code from the Slide 1 Comment to the </div> tag.

  5. Paste that code above the comment for the slide you would like the new one to precede. If you want this to be your first slide, paste the code before the comment for Slide 1.

  6. Replace the name of the copied image with the name of your new image. (i.e. 1.jpg will change to BuybackOnlineSlide.jpg)

  7. Replace the URL link to direct to sell_main.asp.

  8. Replace the caption from the previous slide with your new caption.

  9. Renumber the slides if desired.

  10. Save the changes made in the HTML editor.

  11. Verify on your staging website that everything is displaying correctly and the link is working.

  12. In PrismWeb Manager navigate to Manage > Content Deployer.

  13. After verifying everything is correct and functioning on your staging website, select Deploy to push it to your customer facing website.

Announcement
