Announcements

Announcements allows you to manage the announcements found on your home page. When you choose Announcements from the Manage tab, the Announcements management page displays.

The Announcements page contains

  • Current announcements and their status.
  • Option to edit or delete current Announcements.
  • Option to create a New Announcement
  • Option Change Order of announcements.


You can keep multiple Announcements in PrismWeb Manager, which you make Active or Inactive at the appropriate times.

Creating a New Announcement


How to create a New Announcement.

  1. Select New Announcement to display the Create Announcement screen.



  1. Enter an Announcement Header.
  2. Select the status of Inactive or Active.
  3. Enter your content.
  4. Select Save, which will save your Announcement and return you to the Announcement Home page.


Announcements will show up on your website homepage in the Announcements area in the order in which they are listed in the Announcements Page in PrismWeb Manager. If you have no active Announcements, this area will not display on your homepage to avoid unwanted white space.

Editing an Announcement

Whenever you need to change the text of an Announcement or change its status, you will need to Edit it.
How to edit an Announcement.

  1. Select Edit option next to that Announcement to open the Announcement in an Edit Announcement screen identical to the New Announcement Screen.


  1. Edit your text to update the Announcement and/or change its status.
  2. Save your changes.


Changing Announcement Order

To change the order in which the Announcements display when you have multiple Announcements active choose Change Order in the Announcements bar.

Then click on the Announcement, holding the mouse drag and drop to set the desired order.

Deleting an Announcement

If you decide to remove an Announcement from your Announcements list, you will choose the Delete option. You will then see a message asking you to confirm your action as it cannot be undone.
