Terms and Students

Add terms and course requests into PrismCore and make the term eligible for enrollment. For information on adding a term and courses, please see PrismCore Help file.
Once the term is created, to make it eligible for enrollment, use the following steps.

  1. Access PrismCore and Term Maintenance.
  2. Select Hammer Option and Set Term Enrollment Status.
  3. Select the Enrollment checkbox for all terms to be sent to Concierge.

Note: In order for the Enrollment checkbox to save, you need to click off the record.

  1. Add customers to your system, either manually or through an import.

Note: For the enrollment module to work, you must have the Customer ID and Student Number as the same number.

  1. Add Enrollment information into PrismCore.
    1. This is generally done via an import from your registrar's office.

Note: In order for the information to populate properly, the Student Account number imported must match the Student Number listed in the Advanced fields from Customer Maintenance.

  1. After the imports are complete, the system will automatically link the courses the student is registered for to the proper books listed in course requests for those courses.
  2. Then the system exports the information to the Concierge Book Ordering webpage for your customers to use.
