Enrollment Import
This import can also be used in conjunction with the two other imports. In enrollment imports, the transmission includes the student ID, the campus name, term name, department, course, section, and enrollment comment. In order for the import to occur, the term MUST be set up in PrismCore. In addition, the course requests corresponding to the import must also exist within PrismCore. For example, when importing information for Student ID 4444444, who is enrolled in WPU campus's 2003AWPU term for BIOL 101, section 001. In order for the enrollment to come in, all the above information must already exist in PrismCore, except the student information.
The enrollment information brings in ONLY the student ID field. In order for the other fields to be present within the enrollment screen (name, address, etc.), the student MUST exist within PrismCore Customer maintenance. This can be achieved through manual entry or through an AR customer import.
WPServer will complete two separate imports. The first import is from the import file to the prism_trn database. This step ensures that the file format is correct. Next, the information is transmitted from the prism_trn database to the PrismCore tables.
