Product Transfers

To support allowing stores to transfer stock from one location to another and maintain correct stock on hand at both, Mosaic now enables product transfers.

This function appears as a submenu under Products and includes the following functionality.

 

Within Products, select Product Transfers.
If desired, use the search criteria or filter to look for an existing Product Transfer.

  1. Select +Add Transfer to create a new product transfer.

  2. The Status defaults to open and the Location of Origin will fill in as the current location you are working in. (You can tell by looking at the top of the screen in the dropdown menu next to the Mosaic logo)

  3. Select the Destination for the product transfer.

  4. In the Products section, there are two methods of adding products to the transfer.

    1. Scan the SKU/Barcode of the products you wish to transfer and enter the QTY

    2. Select Search Products and use the search products window, if selecting multiple products used the checkbox to select the desired products, then select OK. OR if you are only adding one product, select Quick Add to save a step. Enter the desired QTY to transfer.

    3. If you need to remove an item from the transfer, select the Trashcan Icon on the right of the line item.

  5. If you are ready to send the transfer, select Send Transfer.

    1. Otherwise, select Save, this will keep the transfer in Open status and allow you to come back and make changes. 

  6. If you send the transfer all areas will become un-editable and you will receive a confirmation of the transfer and stock on hand at the sending location will update.

  7. If desired, select Print to print page.

Receive Product Transfer

  1. In the Product Transfers screen, search for the transfer by any of the search criteria or filter results to In Transit.  Select View on the desired transfer.

  2. Verify that you received the correct item(s) and quantity. If it looks good, select Receive Transfer.

  3. Popup window will ask if you are sure you want to receive products, select OK.

  4. Transfer status will change to Closed. Stock on hand will update at location.

  5. If desired, select Print to print page.

  6. You completed the transfer.
