Initial Set Up

1. Call PrismCore Support to assist you in setting up NBC Direct (NBC Connect).

2. Verify with your IT that traffic is allowed both inbound and outbound (TCP and UDP) for this url: getbooks.nebook.com. Both TCP and UPD connection is needed for port 20. Port 21 only needs TCP connectivity.

Wantlist Workflow

1. In PrismCore > Purchasing > Want Lists > Want Lists module, Create the want list, or purchase order you will send.

2. Use the hammer option Send and follow the prompts.

3. Monitor the "Outgoing Messages" module, and note when the want list message changes to a status of "Sent".

4. Monitor the "Incoming Messages" module for vendor responses.

5. When a response is received, if the PO attached to the want list is in a PROPOSED status in the Purchase Orders module, it will update with the quantities in the response from the vendor.
