Quick Checklist Monsoon

  1. Set up user accounts on www.amazon.com, www.half.com, www.abebooks.com, www.alibris.com & www.endicia.com. See Monsoon documentation.

  2. Download and install the Dazzle mailing software from Endicia. See Monsoon documentation.

  3. Stock up on mailing supplies:

    1. USPS Priority envelopes and boxes

    2. Packing tape

    3. Order mailing envelopes from Nebraska

      1.  Recommend 3 cases NEBRAMAI05 100 per case

      2.  Recommend 3 cases NEBRAMAI06 50 per case

    4. UPS Worldship mailing labels (work with Endicia Dazzle as well):

      1.  UPS item number 01774504 Qty 500

    5. Spare toner or ink cartridge(s) for printer

  4.  Set up AR accounts for Marketplace Vendors in Accounts Receivable.

  5.  Set up AR customers for Marketplace Vendors in Accounts Receivable.

  6.  Set up tender & shipping codes in PrismCore Mail Order Parameters.

  7.  Set up POS tender for automatic deposits and pay out for fees.

  8.  Meet with shipping staff:

    1. Discuss order fulfillment logistics

    2. Review order processing in PrismCore

    3. Review refund processing on the Monsoon Marketplace website and in PrismCore

    4. Review “Pitfalls to Avoid”

    5. Set up files to manage shipped orders paperwork and payment notifications.

  9.  Strive to achieve 100% order fulfillment rate within 24 hours.

  10.  Set up a check list for refunds. Refunds must be done twice, once on the website to satisfy the customer, second in PrismCore  Mail Order to satisfy inventory.  Make sure that you are creating both refunds.

  11.  Receive email notification of payment from Amazon.

    1. Process ROA through Register

    2. Account for any fees

    3. Apply the payment to AR invoices

    4. Reconcile payment amount against Marketplace Vendor account charges for the payment period

    5. Adjust AR customer account as needed

  12.  Leave feedback for your customers and review feedback left by your customers.
