Add Discount to Vendor - Ratex
How to add a discount code to a vendor.
Vendor discount tables define the discount breakpoints that a vendor offers on order quantities or amounts. You can add, update, or delete vendor discount tables for a vendor from the Discount Table in TR Vendor Maintenance. These percentages usually depend on the number of books ordered or on a dollar amount of books ordered.
If there are no discount codes appearing, you will need to set up the Vendor Discount Tables for the vendor in TR Vendor Maintenance:
1. Go to Trade > Maintenance > Vendor > Maintain Vendor Information
2. Under the Order Information tab, hit the Discount Table button at the bottom-right.
3. If there is a blank gray box under the Discount Code column, select a code from the Discount Code drop down, which presents the complete list of valid discount codes and their descriptions, and then click the blank gray box to add the discount code. You may also want to configure the Discount Details on the right.
- Repeat Step 3 if you would like to add additional discount codes
4. Save on the discount table screen, and then save on the Trade vendor.
