SOH and Rentals - Store Managed

It’s essential to understand how Store Managed rentals and Store Managed rentals affect Stock On Hand (SOH). This will allow you to correctly read and understand how quantities for inventory, sales, rentals and on shelf display throughout PrismCore.

Action	Store Managed
Renting the book	Stock on hand is not affected
Refund before refund expiration date	Stock on hand is not affected
Returned by student after refund expiration date and before due date	SOH is not affected for used rentals. If the book was rented new, there will be a rental transfer from new to used for SOH.
Charged as RNR after the due date or closed after the due date	Stock on hand decreases with a reason of rental not returned
