Installing Windows Mobile
First, you will have to have the Windows Mobile software that communicates with PDA/EDA installed on your computer. You can go to the website www.support.nebook.com, to access this program if it is not already installed on your system.
- On the support website, locate Other Downloads Your choices are:
- Active Sync – used for the windows XP operating system and not used for these instructions.
- Windows Mobile Device Center – there are two choices depending if your machine is a 32 bit or 64 bit machine. If you do not know this go to your control panel, system and check the system type. It should be either 32 or 64 bit.
- Open the correct Windows Mobile device center (32 or 64 bit) and follow the prompts to install this on your computer.
- Once Windows Mobile is installed, open the program, plug the EDA dock into the computer and place the EDA in the cradle. The program should show the EDA is connected.
- On the Windows Mobile Device Center screen, choose Connect without setting up your device.
- The program will give you four options:
- Hover over File Management and you will see an option to Browse the contents of your device. This lets you connect to the EDA's file system and browse the folders and files.
- When you select Browse contents of your device, you will see the contents of your EDA, and it should look something like the picture below:
- Now select the \Windows\Start Menu directory.
