Concierge Service
PrismCore has added a concierge service to allow stores to offer a textbook pickup service to students. Once a store creates their courses and imports their customer enrollment information from their registrar, they can push that information to the new Concierge Book Ordering webpage.
This site allows a student to log in with their student ID, and seamlessly presents them with all books they need for the courses they are registered for.
They can choose to rent or purchase them, and after entering some basic information, they can complete their order.
This pushes the order to the store's Concierge Order Queue where the order is fulfilled and a suspended transaction created.
When this is complete, the student is notified that their books are ready.
When the student comes in, the cashier scans the suspended transaction ID from the printout, tenders, and completes the order.
