Monthly Rebate Checks - NMRP
Each month, NBC will send a check for the amount of the rentals (NBC rebate amount) (minus rebate refunds) done for NMRP transactions. So, for example, if between April 1st and April 30th, your store sells enough NMRP rentals to equal $375.00 in NMRP rentals rebates, and does $22.50 in NMRP rental rebate refunds, your net total would be $352.50. This should equal the amount of the NMRP rebate check, which should also match the Check Report.
You can verify this amount by running the NMRP Check report from Rental Number Maintenance for the time frame in question. The report can be run by location for a date range, and will include all NMRP rentals and refunds for that time period.
The total check from NBC should match the NMRP Check report for the given date range. It should also match the Daily Transaction Report from A/R Transaction Inquiry, when run for the same date range.
If your totals match, you will want to enter the NBC check against the A/R account for the NBC rebates, in order to credit the account for the payment.
