Once the physical KDS is up and running, there is information that needs to be setup on the Thunder Admin Tool side.

  1. In Thunder Admin Tool > POS > Edit Register, a KDS XML Output Path (blank = disabled) field has been added.
  2. Set the KDS XML Output path to the Order Source folder configured in KDS Manager.

Note: If multiple registers use the same KDS, the folder should be on a network share.

  1. In Thunder Admin Tool > Quick Menu > Edit Profile > (select item), there is a Send to KDS checkbox.
    1. If checked, the item is sent to KDS.
