EDA Mail Orders
The Mail Order program allows you to lookup, process, and edit mail orders. A mail order can be selected by choosing it from the list or by entering the order number.
How to use Mail Orders
Touch the Mail Orders Mail Orders icon.
Touch Configure to configure your login. For detailed information on how to configure your login refer to the “Logging into an Application” section of this document.
Once you have configured your login, touch either Shipment or Reservation. If you are working on an order that needs to be mailed out, touch Shipment. If you are working on an order that will be picked
up in the store, touch Reservation.
Shipment
After you touch the Shipment icon, a list of orders will appear on your screen. Either type in the order number and touch Search, or look through the list and find it.
Once you have selected the desired shipment a screen will appear that lists all the items on that particular mail order. It lists the amount ordered, the SKU and the customer number. There are several options of buttons to choose on this screen. If you wish to go back to the main screen touch Close.
If there are many items on the order, you may not want to look through each one for the correct item. In this case you could type the XREF/SKU/ISBN into the XREF blank and select Enter.
After you select Enter, a screen will come up that shows how many were ordered of that particular item on the order. You then have the option to either ship or cancel. Enter what you are doing and select OK.
You can also do this by highlighting the item you are wanting and touch the Edit button.
To look at all the information about a particular item, highlight the item and touch Lookup.
When you are finished with the order, select Process to have process the order.
Note: This does not close the order, but only puts the items that have been shipped/cancelled into the system. You will still need to go into and enter the tendered amount and then close the shipment.
Reservation
After you touch the Reservation icon, a list of orders will appear on your screen. Either type in the order number and touch Search, or look through the list and find it.
Once you have selected the desired shipment, a screen will appear that lists all the items on that particular mail order. It lists the amount ordered, SKU, and the customer number. There are several options of buttons to choose on this screen.
Note that the status of the order is listed under the customer number.
If you wish to go back to the main screen touch Close.
To look at all the information about a particular item, highlight the item and touch Lookup.
When the customer picks the items up, touch the Pick Up button and the status of the order will change from Reserved to Picked up.
