How To Set New Tax Locality 19.3.12 - Ratex
In 19.3.12, How to set correct tax code.
Log into the register in POS.
It will prompt you
This register is using tax locality #####-####
Are you sure you want to use this tax locality? (Type "YES" to continue)
Are you sure you want to use this tax locality? (Type "YES" to continue)
If it is on the correct tax locality, type YES - Otherwise hit Enter.
You will then be prompted:
Enter Tax Locality to use for this register:
Enter the tax locality that the register is in - In your case, it will be in the format of the 5 digit zip code, a hyphen, then the plus 4.
If the tax locality does not exist, you will see:
Invalid Tax Locality. Please try again.
If the tax locality does not exist, call support - We will copy an existing tax locality with the correct tax code over to a new record for the missing tax locality.
