Set Register Port on New Register - Ratex

When setting up a new register, how to set the register port.

From the new register.

1.   Log into POS.VR
2.   From main POS menu, type TCL and press <Enter>
3.   At the >type SH and press <Enter>
4.   At the $ prompt, type who am i and press <Enter>
5.   Capture the results to the far right within the parenthesis or the ( )
6.   At the $ prompt, type exit and press <Enter>
7.   At the > prompts, type ED ACC paste the who am i result and press <Enter>
8.   Type I for Insert and press <Enter>
9.   At the 0001 line, type in verbiage that will help you identify why and when this ACC entry was added and press<Enter>
10. At the 0002 line, type in the UniVerse Port# you want to assign to this Device and press <Enter>
11. At the 0003 line, press <Enter> again to exit the Insert mode
12. Type FI to File your changes and press <Enter>
13. Type M and press <Enter> for the main POS menu or type OFF and press <Enter> to logout
