Entering Information Into an EDA

You can enter information into the EDA by using the keyboard to select numbers and letters. There are also various options for tools that are used outside of the Nebraska Book Company programs and the instructions for this can be found under the Help application on the EDA or in your EDA handbook.

Using the Keyboard

To use the keyboard, use the buttons to type what you want. Select the 123 button for numbers and various symbols.  Select the CAP button to use capital letters. To

ENTER the information use the Carriage Return button.  Further information on using the keyboard can be found under the Help application on the EDA.

Stylus

The stylus is the pen-like writing device that you can use to touch a button or field on the EDA screen and/or to write on the screen. In this documentation, we will use the commands “touch”  and “select” to indicate what you should touch with the stylus for data entry.
