The execution of scheduled data import and export jobs has been enabled. You can specify the data source and destination, as well as the frequency of the transfer. The scheduler will execute the job automatically at the designated time, with the ability to monitor job progress via a Job Log and receive notifications in case of errors or failures as you continue to use Mosaic.

  1. Select +Add

  2. In the Add Data Exchange Job screen, select your desired Job Action and Job Type.

    1. Note: If you are choosing Import, you can review the corresponding Import in Admin menu (download sample CSV) to ensure you are adding all the necessary fields. If you want to add more fields, you can, but you must have the required fields.

    2. For Export, review Transaction Search within Reports to see what fields you can be expecting to see.

  3. Enter the Job Name and Job Description.

  4. Fill in the FTP or SFTP information. It should be decided what the file name is and where the file will upload to or from and remain consistent. It has to be exact.

  5. When filling out the job scheduler, one thing to consider is what time of day you will be scheduling this for. If it is an export, and you are doing daily transactions, you may want to schedule it for 11:59pm, or the next morning and have it show Yesterdays transactions.

  6. Select Save.

  7. After Save, you can select “Run Now” to test how the export looks and make adjustments as needed.
