Image uploads now include validation to prevent users from using image formats that are not web-friendly. Users will see an error message warning that the selected format is not allowed.
Users are now prevented from uploading images that are greater than 10,000 KB in size. If an image is too large, the application will show an error indicating the file is greater than the allowable size of 10,000 KB.
The application presents a link to squoosh.app, which is a popular online image conversion tool. Squoosh.app is a tool you can use to convert or resize an image to supported specifications.
Catalog / Catalog Groups
For clients implementing the PrismWeb 2024 template, there is a “choose image” button in on the catalog Catalog and Catalog group detail page. This button allows a user to upload an image to each catalog / catalog group for presentation in the new web template.
