Concierge Service
- PrismCore has added a concierge service to allow stores to offer a textbook pickup service to students. Once a store creates their courses and imports their customer enrollment information from their registrar, they can push that information to the new Concierge Book Ordering webpage.
- This site allows a student to log in with their student ID, and seamlessly presents them with all books they need for the courses they are registered for.
- They can choose to rent or purchase them, and after entering some basic information, they can complete their order.
- This pushes the order to the store's Concierge Order Queue where the order is fulfilled and a suspended transaction created.
- When this is complete, the student is notified that their books are ready.
- When the student comes in, the cashier scans the suspended transaction ID from the printout, tenders, and completes the order.
