Selling Jumpbooks in the Store

Customers can purchase Jumpbooks in the store by picking up a hangtag, which is usually placed next to the print copy of the book (if any).

The customer pulls the hangtag and brings it to the register. If you have an NBC POS system, the sale will be rung at the register and the customer’s receipt will contain the Receipt Number and Access Code needed to access the Jumpbook at Jumpbooks.com.

Tip:  Not all receipts look alike, and the Receipt Number and Access Code may be located in different areas of the receipt.  It is vital that your cashiers are aware of the location of this information, so they can show it to customers on your actual receipts.

If your bookstore does not have an Prism|rbs POS system, you can generate a receipt using the Web-Based POS Sale through the Jumpbooks Management System.
