The PrismCore system allows you to cascade Want lists to multiple vendors by cascading updated want lists per vendor responses automatically. Cascading want lists means you send the first want list to the first vendor, and get the response back. When the response is back, you then send another want list to another vendor, with quantities that reflect the amount needed, less any quantities the initial vendor has promised, based on their response. Cascading automatically per responses means you are allowed to send a want list to the first vendor in your list, and get the response back. At that point, the PrismCore system updates the unfilled quantities on the want list, and schedules a recalculated want list for the next vendor in your list. This process continues until all vendors you are working with have been messaged.

To send cascaded want lists based on responses through Easylink

Access the Want List module.
In the Want List Module, create a want list for the current or future textbook term.
After generating and reviewing the results of your want list, you must decide which vendors you will be sending the want list to.
In the Vendor field of the want list, click the Ellipsis button to select all the vendors to which you want to send the want lists. A 'Select Want List Vendors' dialog opens:
Click the New (Insert) button. Select the vendors from the 'Find Vendor' dialog that opens. Click OK to close the dialog.
Click on the hammer and select "Send…"
The following screen appears:
The Document field will default to the want list on your screen. If another want list needs to be selected, click the ellipsis next to the Document field and choose the want list you wish to send.
Make selection on if you want to recalculate using Order Decisions for each subsequent want list sent to vendor or use the original quantities for all vendor want lists.
Make selection on if you want to Discard Cascaded Wantlists or keep them.
Click Next.
The following dialog displays showing the first vendor on the list you created for this cascading want list:
Choose the book type:
• New only
• Used only
• Either
For automatically cascading want lists, the Order Type field is assumed to be Order-Ship ASAP.
Input a header or footer, if needed.
If you would like the company to quote additional titles, check the 'Quote Additional Titles' checkbox.
Click Next.
The follow appears:

If you choose to create a new Purchase Order, Select the Create New button.
If you choose to use an existing Purchase Order, select the Use Existing button. Use the ellipsis to locate a proposed PO for the vendor that you want to use to tract the wantlist responses on.
After the proper selections have been made, click Next.
The Order Options for next vendor on the list will appear.
Continue to select the appropriate options until all vendors are complete, and then Submit the want list.
