Enhancements

Disable Pay Button During Tendering Process & Void Tenders if Cashier Backs Out of Tendering

With this change, after the pay button is selected during a transaction and tenders are selected the pay button is greyed out. When a cashier backs out of the tendering process to change something within the transaction, all of the tender(s) added to the transaction are voided from the transaction. When the cashier selects pay again, they are required to select new tenders

Split-Screen: Serial Number Field Will Display on the Right Side of the Screen

When using split-screen if an item requires a serial number, the enter serial number screen will display on the right side of the screen instead of the left side. This creates a better workflow and is consistent with the functionality of split-screen mode.

Change of Cancel/Suspend Button Functionality

With this change selecting the cancel/suspend button within the master view opens the detail view back in the item search screen.

Display Transaction Discounts in the Items Screen

When a cashier applies a discount to the transaction, the discount is visible in the items screen so that they can see what discounts have been applied without having to go into the transaction details screen.

Split-Screen: Cancel Transaction Button Resets Both Screens

With this change, when the Cancel Transaction button is selected both sides of the screen return to their default states so a new transaction can be started. If anything had been searched, the search results are reset Toggle Split-Screen Mode On and Off With this change, the ability to toggle split-screen mode on and off has been added. The split-screen mode toggle is available at the bottom of the tools menu.

Split-Screen Field Added to Item Details Screen to Add/Edit Serial Number XREF for Serialized Items

With this change, a Serial Number XREF field has been added on the item details screen. This allows the serial XREF to be added/edited on serialized items. When a serial numbered item is added to a transaction either as a regular item or rental, if the serial number XREF is entered incorrectly or is invalid, previously there was no way enter missed information or edit something entered in correctly without canceling the entire transaction. After this change, you can now edit or add the serial number XREF on the transaction as needed.

Bug Fixes

Price Override from the Item Detail Screen Not Immediately Updating Subtotal, Tax, or Pay Amount

Prior to this fix, if an item had a price override the Item Detail screen did not update the subtotal, tax, or pay amount until another item was added or the cashier scrolled off the transaction and back. After this fix, the price override updates the subtotal, tax, and pay amount on the Item Detail screen as expected.

Item Discounts Not Updating Subtotal, Taxes or Pay Button

Prior to this fix, when an item discount was applied, the subtotal, taxes, and pay button did not update. After this fix, when an item discount is applied, the subtotal, taxes, and pay button updates as expected. The discount will now display in red above the subtotal line when the item discount is applied.

Split-Screen: App Crashes When Selecting Receipt from Receipt Search While Transaction is Active

Prior to this fix, if a transaction is already in progress in PrismMobile and the user did a receipt search to locate a suspended receipt, when a search result is selected, the app would crash. After the fix, the user can begin a transaction and use the receipt search to locate a suspended receipt. When the user selects one of the search results, and then taps the select receipt button, the app works as expected.

"No Receipt" Item Return - Totals Not Updating on Sales Screen

Prior to this fix, when an item was returned and "no receipt" was selected, the sales screen failed to update. After the fix, when an item is returned and "no receipt" is selected, the sales screen updates as expected.

Store Closed Banner Not Displaying When Store is Closed

Prior to this fix, when the Thunder Admin option Show Closed is selected and the store was closed, the Store Closed banner did not display. After this fix, the Store Closed banner will display as expected when the store is closed and the Show Closed option is selected.

Switching Between Buy and Rent Does not Update the Price on the Item Detail Screen

Prior to this fix, when switching between the Buy and Rent buttons for an item on the Item Detail screen the retail price did not adjust to reflect the current option; it remained the retail value of the first choice. After this fix, when switching back and forth between Buy and Rent the price updates with the change, and if rental the rental xref prompts appear, as expected.

Transaction Buy/Rent Buttons

Prior to this fix, when viewing an item added to a transaction (either buy or rent) in the item detail screen, buttons at the top do not distinguish which button is active. After this change the button for the option selected, Buy or Rent, will appear a dark grey.

Rent Only

Prior to this fix, When adding a rent only item to a transaction, a blank screen displayed briefly prior to displaying the rental XREF screen. This has been corrected.

Change the Single Item Search Results Screen to Prevent Double Entries

When searching by single result options (SKU, xref) the Add Item button was still active after the item had been added to the transaction. After the fix, when searching by single result items (SKU, xref) after the item is added to the transaction the item details screen displays and when arrowing back the search results screen is blank.

Split Screen: Rental Returns with XREF Search

Rental returns can now be done, when searching by Rental XREF.

Return Rentals via SKU - Button not Functioning in Item Details Screen

Rental Returns may now be done after searching by SKU and selecting the Rental Return button. However, if you do a rental return and subsequently choose No Receipt the Sales view does not update. This issue will be corrected in a future release.

Issues Adding New Customers

Several issues were identified in the Add New Customer function. These issues have been resolved and adding new customers now works correctly.

Split Screen: Transaction Discount Not Displaying

Previously the transaction discount was not displaying above the subtotal line. A change was made so the transaction discount now appears in red, above the subtotal line so that it is clear it has been applied, before moving to the payment process.

Split Screen: Transaction Discount Not Changing Pay Total

Previously the transaction discount was not changing the Pay total. This has been corrected.

Split Screen: ROA Pay-In

The App was crashing after selecting ROA Pay-In and selecting an account. This has been corrected.

Split Screen: ROA Pay-Out

The App was crashing when doing a ROA Pay-Out from the special items menu after selecting done. This has been corrected.

Split Screen: Search Results for Suspended Transactions

The search results for suspended transactions under the receipt menu did not display available transactions to choose from. This has been corrected.

Split Screen: Recovering a Suspended Transaction

When recovering a suspended transaction to process the app would crash. This has been corrected.

Split Screen: Special Items Cafe Mode - Increasing the Purchase Quantity Does Not Update

When increasing the amount of the purchased item, the quantity did not update when the quantity is greater than one until another item is added to the transaction. If there is only one item on the transaction, the purchase quantity did not increase, only the total leaving the transaction hung up. This has been corrected

Split Screen: Reprint Receipt Buttons

When using the reprint receipt buttons either at the receipts screen or the selected receipts screen the app crashes. This has been corrected.

Split Screen: Email Receipt

Email Receipts button did not work from the receipts search results screen but worked after selecting the receipt (using select receipt button then email). This has been corrected.

Split Screen: Special Items Cafe Mode

A change was made to keep the user in café mode under special items until they exit the screen. Prior to the change, café mode would close after adding each item from the menu.

Customer Details Screen Displays 'Remove' Button Incorrectly

Prior to this fix, the Customer Details screen displays the Remove from Transaction button as active (available) when viewing details for a customer who is not attached to a transaction. When clicking this button it crashes the app. This has been corrected so the Remore from Transaction button is not active when viewing details for a customer who is not attached to a transaction.

Split Screen: Search Type Screen Done Button

In the 'search type' screen, the 'done' button can be difficult to select. After this fix, the Done button is easier to select. After clicking 'Done' the search continues with the search type if a value is placed in the search text box. If no value in the search box the prompt displays notifying the user to enter search text for the type.

Split Screen: Removing Customer from Transaction

Prior to the fix, removing an assigned customer from a transaction using the 'Remove From Transaction' button on the customer detail screen the app crashed. This has been corrected.

Split Screen: Cafe Mode Not Displaying Components

Prior to the fix, in Cafe mode, when adding a sandwich with component parts to a transaction (build your own), the components were not being seen, so when a second item was added to the transaction it was displaying on the transaction within the sandwich components. This was changed to display the sandwich with the components and place the secondary items below the component list.

Split Screen: Delete Icon in Edit Tenders not Working

Prior to the fix, the Delete button on the tenders edit screen did not function or caused the app to crash when selecting. This has been corrected.

Split Screen: Removing Discount from Transaction

When removing a discount from a transaction, the app would crash. This has been corrected.

Split Screen: Item Details Search Type Picker Wheel

The Item Details 'Search Type' picker wheel locked up the screen after selecting any type and clicking 'Done' causing the user to completely log out to release screen. This has been corrected.

Split Screen: Spacing of SKU and Textbook Type Coloumn

On the transaction search by author or title screen, the SKU column and the N and U (new/used) are not spaced correctly or overlapping. The spacing between the SKU column and textbook type have been adjusted to correct this issue.

Split Screen: Right-hand Screen Back Arrow

In split-screen, when using the back arrow on the right-hand screen the app will crash on occasion. This has been corrected.

Split Screen: Subtotal and Tax Fields not Updating on Main Transaction Screen

When adding items to a transaction the subtotal and tax fields are not updating when the first item is added but will update when a second item is added or the user uses the back arrow to scroll off the transaction and come back in. This has been corrected.

Non-Taxable Button

When selecting the 'Non-Taxable' button within the transaction details screen the application would crash. This has been corrected.

Split Screen: Alerts Cause App to Crash

When various alerts were triggered, the app would crash. This has been corrected.

Printer With MSR

Corrected the issue for the printers with MSR swipe to allow receipt printing after using the MSR swipe.
