Multi Store Setup and Configuration

WPConsole and Participating Locations

The first step for a store determining to use multi-store web is to decide which Stores/Locations will participate.  Once determined, the store needs to communicate that information to PrismCore support, who will then inform programming.  Programming will then enable the multi store feature and add the combined locations option to WPConsole.

Please keep in mind, the stores choosing to participate in multi-store web will share a web line in WPConsole.  Support will set up this single line as though it were setting it up for the “main” location.  This “main” location is defined by the store, and should correspond to the site ID for the website the store plans to use.

If the other locations already have existing web lines, programing will need to remove these in order to allow the system to communicate on a single line.  Additionally, PrismWeb should be notified, so they can have the additional websites removed.

PrismCore Admin Parameters

The next step is to change parameters in PrismCore Admin.  The "Combine all data into one site" System Parameter cannot be toggled by the user, but it is displayed in the PrismCore Admin > "General System Parameters" module.

There are two System Parameters listed here that were added for Multi-Store purposes. The "Combine all data into one site" parameter, which turns on the functionality, and the "Auto route web orders by term when combining to one web site" parameter, which can be toggled on or off but will only function if Multi Store is turned on ("Combine all data into one web site" parameter).  Support will need to set the parameters for the store.

Email Addresses

Email addresses need to be set up for each participating store, so that emails can be sent to the customer when the order is processed. This is done in the PrismCore Admin > "Store Information" module on the Miscellaneous tab.
