PrismPOS 2.0

Enhancements

  • Fixed $ and Variable $ Transaction discounts are now allowed in the Prism2.0 register application.

  • It is not longer allowable to combine pay ins or pay outs with normal sales. These are special types of transaction records in PrismCore. If an item is added to a transaction, the Pay In and Pay Out buttons will not display. If an item is scanned for an existing Pay In/Pay Out transaction, the message Cannot add items to a Pay In or Pay Out displays.

  • FreedomPay has been implemented with PrismPOS 2.0.

  • Code was added to implement FreedomPay Refunds with PrismPOS 2.0

  • Code was added to prompt for a signature at the pin pad and accept the signature for FreedomPay transactions printing it on the receipt and displaying it in Admin Tool > Transaction Inquiry.

Bug Fixes

  • Total Spent was not printing on Membership receipts. This has been corrected so when a Membership transaction is completed, Total Spent: (total spent amount) prints on the receipt.

  • Refunding a membership transaction was not updating the membership customer balance correctly in WPAdmin > Accounting tab > Memberships > Customer Maintenance. This has been corrected and Membership Balances are now updating correctly.

  • The font size in Customer Details > Rentals was too large and so the XREF field didn’t show the entire XREF on some screens. The font size has been decreased and the XREF is fully visible. Note: The 20-digit XREFs will wrap to the next line.\

  • Deleting items from a transaction or refunding by receipt was display the error An application error occurred. Object reference not set to an instance of an object. This has been fixed so items can be deleted from a transaction and transactions can be refunded by receipt without error.

  • When a price override was done on a membership sale, the Total Spent and the Membership balance was using the original item price, not the overridden price. This has been fixed so that when a membership item has a price override, the price override amount is used for the Total Spent amount and is the amount that is either added or subtracted from the Membership balance depending on whether the transaction was a sale or refund.

  • When a split tendered transaction with A/R and another tender was done, the total amount was not equal to zero. Code has been changed to not allow an exchange from a transaction that was split tendered with A/R and another tender. If attempted the message You cannot start an exchange from this transaction. Please refund items in one transaction and sell new items in another displays.

  • Memberships were not working correctly in 2.0. This has been fixed so that memberships that are single tiered work correctly in PrismPOS 2.0.
