  1. Work with your preferred digital provider to set up your account.
  2. PrismCore Support will configure WPServer.
  3. Be sure port 443 is open, using TCP/IP, on the POS Server.

The following steps are outlined in detail in the sections below.

  1. Create a digital content DCC.
  2. Obtain Digital ISBN's and Pricing from the digital provider website.
  3. Create digital book item records for Item Maintenance, using the digital ISBN from the digital provider website for all titles you wish to carry as Digital content.
  4. Create a 'Digital Content Instruction' record.
  5. Create digital book records in the Digital Content module.
  6. Sell the digital book through POS.
  7. The receipt will print, giving the customer instructions on downloading the digital book. The receipt should contain a receipt number and a Basket ID.
